In the fourth quarter of 2023, the theme park app landscape showed varying performance metrics across the top players in the United States. With data provided by Sensor Tower, we can delve into the trends demonstrated by these applications, offering a glimpse into user engagement and preferences.

My Disney Experience saw its revenue peak at $275K during the holiday week, with a notable increase from $88K at the beginning of December. Downloads for the app surged to 91K in the final week of December from 60K at the quarter's start, while weekly active users climbed to 330K from an initial 290K.

The Disneyland® app's revenue also experienced a growth, reaching nearly $37K in the last week of December, up from $28K in late September. Downloads showed an upward trend, increasing to 71K in the final week from 52K. Weekly active users reflected a positive trajectory, ending the quarter at 173K compared to 159K at the beginning of the period.

For Universal Studios Hollywood™, while revenue data was not available, the app's downloads saw a significant rise from 42K to nearly 50K by year-end. The app's weekly active users also increased, from 71K in late September to 81K by the end of December.

Universal Orlando Resort followed a similar pattern with its downloads growing from 32K to over 52K in the last week of December. The app's weekly active users showed a healthy increase from 108K to 134K during the same period.

Lastly, the SeaWorld app, which also did not report any revenue, experienced a download spike in the final week of December, jumping to 48K from 15K in the opening week of the quarter. Its weekly active users nearly doubled, rising from 35K to 68K.
